Brianna Spishock

Brianna Spishock has held a variety of roles in the past 8 years. From 2013-2016, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks, where they prepared handcrafted beverages and provided knowledge on the distinct flavor profile of taste, body, and aroma for each coffee. Brianna also engaged in POS customer service including cashiering and providing personalized recommendations for customers based on their preferences. From 2015-2021, Brianna worked at Plexision as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Senior Medical Laboratory Technician, and Laboratory Technologist. As a Senior Medical Laboratory Technician, they streamlined the training process to reduce the company's new hire training program through prioritizing tasks that get new technologists into the workflow within their first weeks of training. Brianna also implemented a new inventory database with triggers to order for reagents depending on monthly workload fluctuations and expiration dates to eliminate waste. Additionally, they supervised a team of four technologists, assigned daily duties and delegated tasks to team members to maximize efficiency and to ensure performance standards were met. In 2021, Brianna began working as an Independent Online Seller at Poshmark.

Brianna Spishock's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Anthropology from Penn State University, obtained in 2013. Brianna also completed an Intro to SQL: Querying and managing data course on Khan Academy in 2022. In addition, Brianna has obtained several certifications, including a Google Data Analytics Specialization from Coursera in June 2022, an Introduction to Statistics from Coursera in June 2022, a Data Analytics Professional Certificate from Break Into Tech in April 2022, a Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals (2019) from LinkedIn in April 2022, a Healthcare Bloodborne Pathogens from ProTrainings in August 2022, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Management & Strategy Institute in December 2019, and a Project Management - Lean Process Certified from the Management & Strategy Institute in December 2019.
