Animesh Roy is a Scientist II at Plexium, specializing in DNA encoded library development and synthesis for high-throughput phenotypic screens to discover protein degraders. Prior to joining Plexium, Animesh worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Deluge Biotechnologies, where Animesh focused on DNA encoded One-Bead-One-Compound (OBOC) library development and synthesis of non-peptidic macrocycles using fluorescence activated bead sorting (FACS). Animesh also has experience as a Professional Research Collaborator at Scripps Research, and as a Doctoral Student at Florida Atlantic University where Animesh worked on stereoselective synthesis of Allene building blocks and asymmetric synthesis using chiral phase transfer catalyst. Additionally, Animesh has a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where Animesh focused on water soluble calixarenes.
