Geoffray Leriche has a long history of work experience in the scientific field. In 2019, they began working at Plexium as a Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at the University of California San Diego as an Assistant Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate, where they were a synthetic chemist who led an Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) grant for the development of bioinspired Archaea-inspired lipids, initiated and chaperoned collaborations, and participated in other projects focused on the synthesis of fluorescent probes and the development of one-bead-one-compound (OBOC) combinatorial libraries. Geoffray was also responsible for lab operations for a team of +10 people, driving constant lab efficiency improvements, managing lab safety, and promoting a safe-work environment. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Université de Strasbourg as a PhD in organic chemistry, where their research focused on the synthesis and development of cleavable linkers for biotechnological applications such as chemical proteomics, fluorescence imaging, and drug delivery systems. In 2008, they also worked at Prestwick Chemical, PC SAS as a Research Assistant. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, they worked at Université Montpellier 2 as a Graduate Researcher.
Geoffray Leriche obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry with an area of specialization in chemical biology from the University of Strasbourg between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Montpellier between 2004 and 2008. Geoffray also obtained a Technical Degree in Chemistry from the Universit\u00e9 Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) between 2002 and 2004.
