John Cassidy

John Cassidy serves as an Investment Director and Head of Life Sciences at SoftBank Investment Advisers since 2021, focusing on investments in Life Sciences and HealthTech companies. Cassidy holds several board member positions at Neuron23, CMR Surgical, Ventus Therapeutics, and Big Health, and is an investor in Plexium, Leyden Labs, and Proximie. Cassidy previously served on the board of Twelve Bio, which was acquired by Ensoma, and Stipe Therapeutics, holding various roles from Board Observer to Board Director. Cassidy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from UCL and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.
