Julia Toth

Julia Toth has worked in the scientific field since 1997. Julia began their career at the University of California, Los Angeles as a Staff Scientist I. In 2006, they moved to Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. as a Scientist. Julia then joined Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in 2007 as a Senior Scientist. Most recently, in 2019, they began working at Plexium as a Principal Scientist.

Julia Toth began their educational journey in 1992, when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Julia then continued their studies at UC Irvine, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in 2004. Afterward, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Human Genetics at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2004 to 2005.
