Jim Odom

Jim Odom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the music and technology industries. Currently serving as a Partner at Plexos Group, Inc. since January 2013, Jim previously held influential roles such as Vice President of PreSonus Products at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and President of PreSonus Audio Electronics, where contributions spanned from 1995 to 2024. Additionally, Jim was the CTO at VedaLabs, innovating in online music services, and served as Director of R&D at Odom Hydrographics, focusing on digital systems for hydrographic applications. Academically, Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Berklee College of Music, supplemented by coursework at Loyola University New Orleans and the Investment Banking Institute.
