Katie Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Katie started their career in 2004 as the Owner and Photographer at K&K Creations, where they successfully grew the business and won several contracts for sports photography. In 2016, they joined State Farm as a Claims Adjuster for a short period of time. From 2017 to 2020, Katie worked at Yates Construction, first as a Sr Project Manager and then as a Project Development Manager, gaining valuable construction knowledge and working on HUD, CDBG funded programs. Currently, they are the Director of Client Relations at Plexos Group, LLC, where they lead various complex projects funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and supports disaster recovery efforts across the US.
Katie Johnston attended Southeastern Louisiana University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Applied Psychology.
