Bruce Bunce has a diverse and extensive work experience, primarily in the aviation and defense industry. Bruce began their career in the United States Air Force in 2000 as a Flight Commander and Lead Instructor for NATO AWACS. In this role, they were responsible for training multinational instructors, analyzing training deficiencies, and developing plans for simulators and flight profiles.

Following their time in the Air Force, Bunce worked as a Command and Control Budget Analyst and Programmer, providing oversight and guidance for sustaining systems capabilities worth over $24 billion. Bruce also served as an E-3 AWACS Requirements Officer, leading a $2.9 billion upgrade and conversion plan.

In 2009, Bunce became the Operations Manager and Director of Operations for the Air Force, where they directed daily operations for a $61 million training pipeline and supervised integration and instructional performance. Bruce also managed operations for 140 employees supporting counter-drug operations.

From 2012 to 2016, Bunce held leadership positions in the Air Force, including General Manager and Squadron Commander, where they led a team of 75 employees through the execution of the System Evaluation Program and directed acquisition, logistics, and budgeting.

Most recently, Bunce worked at PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc., where they held multiple roles including C2ISR Project Manager, C2ISR Program & Capture Manager, and Director of Operations. In these positions, they managed various aspects of projects and programs, such as directing operations and developing strategic plans for worldwide missions.

Bruce Bunce attended Auburn University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Later, in 1998 and 1999, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Oklahoma City University. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they enrolled at Air University, specializing in Military Operational Art & Science and Leadership Development.
