Max Runia

Max Runia is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and modernizing software solutions across various companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at PlexTrac since October 2021, Max has introduced an event bus, designed ETL processes, and conducted training sessions as a subject matter expert. Prior experience at Intuit from January 2018 to October 2021 involved porting Java libraries to PHP, modernizing backend systems, and enhancing code quality through tooling. Max's earlier roles included improving software functionalities at TSheets Time Tracking Software and contributing to the initial development of Tovuti LMS, where significant billing and customer support solutions were implemented. Max holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Southern Oregon University.
