Ross Hanson has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Ross started their career at TicketDirect in 2016 as a Technical Support Coordinator, where they managed database, application support, and internal IT. In 2017, they joined First Focus IT as a Level 1 Support Technician, providing remote support over the phone and email. Ross later took on the role of Level 2 Support Technician and acted as the Support Team Lead, overseeing ticket management, communication between departments, and incident management. In 2021, Ross joined Plexure as an Application Support Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Intermediate Analytics Engineer in 2022.
Ross Hanson attended Otago University from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Ross has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. These include the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification, obtained in May 2022, the MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services certification earned in June 2021, and the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification obtained in May 2020.
