Beth Macauley

Beth Macauley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Grand Valley State University, where they teach future speech-language pathologists and run a private practice focusing on adults and children with neurological disorders. They have held previous academic positions at the University of Tulsa, Calvin College, Washington State University, and the University of Alabama. With an international reputation in equine-assisted therapy, specifically hippotherapy, they have also served as the Executive Director at GREAT - Grand Rapids Equine Assisted Therapy. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science, and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and is actively involved in consulting and conducting seminars and workshops.
