Arissa Wheeler

Arissa Wheeler is a seasoned industrial designer currently serving as a Senior Industrial Designer at Plexus Corp. since June 2022. In addition to this role, Arissa is the Owner and Creator of Dyelation, a lifestyle apparel brand specializing in interactive apparel for music and art lovers, utilizing proprietary color-changing technology. Previous experience includes working as an Interior Designer at Havenly, where Arissa led design projects and created digital visualizations, and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, focusing on digital marketing and mentoring students. Arissa has held leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer at Kush Design, managing operations and achieving significant sales, and has contributed to community development through play design at PlayCore/GameTime, creating over 200 custom playgrounds. Arissa holds a Master's degree in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree from Auburn University, complemented by study abroad experience at Shu-Te University.
