Jake Nagel

Jake Nagel is a Senior Digital Design Engineer at Plexus Corp. since March 2019, specializing in product development for medical devices, defense, and aerospace, with a focus on a complex Class II medical device featuring Xilinx FPGAs. Prior experience includes roles as a Test Engineer in manufacturing, supporting PCB operations, and Electronics Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where Jake led a team of FPGA developers and implemented Universal Verification Methodology. Earlier work at Rockwell Collins involved developing test bench environments using UVM and contributing to firmware updates for manufacturing. Jake's engineering career began as an intern at Snap-on Tools, where foundational skills in battery management and PCB testing were acquired. Jake holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering and attended the University of Wisconsin Colleges.
