Mariano Padilla

Mariano Padilla is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product development, mechanical engineering, and project management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Development at Plexus Corp. since September 2017, Mariano oversees the engineering team and operations within the design center. Prior roles include Functional/Project Manager and Staff Mechanical Engineer at Plexus Corp., as well as Mechanical Engineer at Intel Corporation, where Mariano led projects focused on thermal solutions for CPUs. Additional experience includes teaching positions at TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY and ITESO, and leadership roles at Soluciones Tecnológicas, designing fixtures and tooling for major aerospace clients. Mariano holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, along with an exchange diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ulm.
