Mats Goebels

Mats Goebels is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and customer management across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Customer Management in the Industrial Sector and EMEA General Counsel at Plexus Corp. since 2018, Mats is an integral member of both the EMEA Leadership Team and the Global Legal Group Leadership Team. Previously, Mats held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, where responsibilities included managing the Corporate Transactions Group during a significant transition. Mats also founded and served as CEO of Alterna Legal Inc., providing innovative legal staffing solutions. Earlier experience includes roles as Managing Director and General Counsel at Investment Technology Group, Inc. and corporate associate positions at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Weil Gotshal and Manges. Mats holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in Political Science from Washington and Lee University, complemented by a high school education in Latin and Greek from College Saint Michel in Brussels, Belgium.
