Philip Summers

Philip Summers is a Software Verification Engineer at Plexus Corp. since December 2021, previously serving as a Software Test Engineer at FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., where responsibilities included verifying the quality of medical informatics products through rigorous testing methods. Prior experience includes tenure at UNC Department of Neurology, where Philip designed custom MRI equipment and developed an open-source device for physiological data collection in fMRI experiments, contributing to research presented at the 2019 ISMRM conference. Philip's early career involved evaluation of medical products at Teleflex Incorporated during a mentorship program, along with roles in customer service and kitchen staff in various settings, leading to a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
