Shane Backhaus

Shane Backhaus, PHR, SHRM-CP, serves as the Manufacturing Manager at Plexus Corp. since May 2019, alongside various leadership roles in Human Resources, including Global Human Resources Director and Senior Human Resources Manager. With a comprehensive background in human resources spanning over a decade, Shane has directed HR activities for manufacturing facilities with employee counts up to 400, focusing on workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement. Previous positions held include Senior Human Resources Manager at Pierce Manufacturing, where Shane developed the first engagement survey for the Fire and Emergency Segment and led initiatives to enhance employee relations.
