John R. Hall, Ed.D.

John R. Hall, Ed.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. From 1998 to 2019, they were Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Greenwood Hall, a publicly-traded education technology services company. John was also Director of Sales and Marketing for Goodman Communications West from 1994 to 2007, and Co-Founder and Director of US Interactive Media from 2007 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Enrollment Management Committee for Roosevelt University. In 2017, they became Chairman and Senior Advisor for EDUGAGED, LLC., and in 2018 they became Chief Financial Officer for Higher Mastery Ventures. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Financial Officer for PLEXUSS, and Chief Impact Officer for the PLEXUSS Foundation. Most recently, they were appointed Chief Business Officer for Bayan Islamic Graduate School in 2020.

John R. Hall, Ed.D. received their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from USC Rossier School of Education in 2012, after obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2002. John also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Pepperdine University, which they obtained in 1997. John attended Windward School from 1989 to 1993.
