Jason Raede has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jason is currently the Cofounder and CEO of Pliable, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they founded Whetstone Ventures in May 2021, where they served as the Founder.

From 2020 to 2022, Jason worked at Simply Fundraising as the CTO, responsible for technology operations. Jason also served as the Principal at Phrygian Technologies from May 2020 to May 2021.

In 2020, Jason worked at Lev as a member of the Architecture & Strategy team, focused on underwriting products.

From 2018 to 2020, they were the CTO at Fincura, where they brought AI, automation, and modern analytics to middle-market commercial lending. Jason led a slim engineering team and enabled multiple deployments per day.

In 2015, Jason joined Dispatch as a Principal Solutions Architect and later became the Director of Engineering. In these roles, they played a key part in the growth and success of the company by expanding and improving the sales and implementation process, as well as leading the migration to a modern technology stack.

Before that, Jason was a Senior Engineer at Maxwell Health from 2014 to 2015, where they led the adoption of agile methodology and built a HIPAA-compliant integration framework.

Jason began their career as a Co-Founder and Lead Developer at Torched Media from 2011 to 2014, a boutique consulting firm specializing in web and mobile application development. Additionally, Jason has a background as a self-employed freelance musician, primarily working as a drummer from 2002 to 2012.

Jason Raede attended the University of Southern California, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a focus on Middle Eastern Studies. Additionally, they studied Journalism, Middle Eastern Studies, Hebrew, and Arabic at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
