Justin Bertman has a wealth of experience in the software industry. Justin currently serves as the Chief Architect at Plixer since October 2018. Prior to their current role, they worked at McAfee as a Principal Architect from March 2012 to October 2018. Before that, Justin held various managerial positions at Webroot Software, where they managed development teams and was responsible for designing and implementing distributed computing systems for web crawling, content analysis, and data classification. Justin also worked as a Software Engineer at Webroot Software, where they created automated systems and designed a patented web crawler. Earlier in their career, Justin held roles at Electric Rain, where they managed project code bases, development environments, and installers as a Software Build Manager, and also worked as a Software Engineer.
Justin Bertman attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1994 to 2000, where they completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Mathematics. Justin earned a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree during this time.
