Robert Riverso

Robert Riverso has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2012, they served as a Director on the Board of Aquilon Energy Services, a company that develops software solutions for the energy industry. Robert also served as a Director on the Board of Temporal Power Ltd., a manufacturer of energy storage systems.

In 2011, they joined SuperTurbo Technologies as a Board Observer, where they worked on developing engine-efficiency technologies for large truck engines.

From 2011 to 2016, Riverso worked at Northwater Capital Management Inc. in multiple roles. As a Portfolio Manager, they supported venture investing for the company's Intellectual Property Funds. Robert also served as the Manager of Business Development, formulating and executing a go-to-market strategy for the company's liquid alternatives business line.

In 2016, Riverso founded Autonomy Insurance Inc., a start-up focused on creating an "on-demand" auto insurance platform. Robert assembled a team of experts and worked closely with insurance companies to assess the viability of the technology.

From 2018 to 2020, Riverso worked as the Lead Strategist for Financial Services at Element AI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence solutions.

In 2021, they served as the Director of Corporate Development at WorldQuant Predictive before joining Shopistry as the Head of Growth later that year.

Finally, in 2022, Riverso joined Plooto as the Senior Product Manager and Payments Lead.

Robert Riverso completed their education in a chronological order. Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Finance and Economics from Western University between 2004 and 2006. Following this, they attended the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration/Finance (HBA). Lastly, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 2013 to 2014.
