Patrick Goymer is an experienced science journal editor and science communicator currently serving as the Life Sciences Division Editor at PLOS ONE since 2024. Previously, Goymer held the position of Chief Editor for Nature Ecology & Evolution from 2016 to 2024, where they launched the journal and managed a team of editors while defining its strategy and content. Goymer also served as an Associate Editor for Nature Reviews Genetics and Nature Reviews Cancer, and held a Senior Editor role at Nature.
