Richard Paul has been in the software engineering field since 2006. Richard began their career as a Network Administrator and Technician for Ballymena Borough Council IT Department. From 2008 to 2012, they were a Computer Lab Teaching Assistant and PhD Student at the University of Ulster. In 2012, they became a Lead Software Developer for Instagiv and then a Senior Software Engineer for Zymplify in 2017. In 2018, Richard Paul was a Senior Software Engineer for Holmes Media (UK) Ltd and a Freelance Software Engineer. Richard is currently a Senior Software Engineer for PlotBox.
Richard Paul obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (1st Class Honours) from Ulster University between 2004 and 2008. Prior to this, they completed a BTEC National Diploma in IT Practitioners (General) from Northern Regional College Coleraine between 2002 and 2004. Richard then went on to pursue a PHD in Computer Science at Ulster University, which they completed in 2012.
