Sarah Doyle

Manager - Site Operations at Plotlogic

Sarah Doyle has a diverse work experience in the mining and engineering industry. Sarah started their career as an Undergraduate Mining Engineer at Anglo Coal in 2006, followed by roles as an Undergraduate Mining Engineer at Xstrata Copper in 2007 and as an Undergraduate Mining Engineer at AMC Consultants in 2009. Sarah then joined Golding Contractors Pty Ltd as a Graduate Mining Engineer in 2010, and later became a Mining Engineer in 2011.

In 2012, Sarah joined Anglo American, where they held various roles including Short Term Scheduling Engineer, Medium/Long Term Scheduling Engineer, and Technical Services Superintendent. Their responsibilities included implementing scheduling software, reforecasting schedules, coordinating inputs from different departments, and ensuring compliance with leading practices.

In 2017, Sarah joined Glencore Australia as a Mining Engineer, where they focused on developing achievable 12-month forecasts and optimizing digger/truck utilization. Sarah then advanced to the role of Senior Mining Engineer and subsequently became the Technical Services Manager. Their main achievements included maintaining best practices in excavation areas and matching diggers and dig horizons based on performance.

Currently, Sarah works at Plotlogic as the Manager - Site Operations, starting from March 2023.

Sarah Doyle completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mining (Hons) from The University of Queensland from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their university education, they attended Brisbane Girls Grammar School from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Mining Engineering Manager from the Department of Regional NSW in September 2021.
