Tom Paterson

Tom Paterson is an experienced geologist with a robust background in both geology and business. Tom began a career at BHPBilliton from 1993 to 2007 and later held various roles at Anglo American, including Business Development Manager for Coal and Head of Geology for Ferrous. After gaining substantial experience, Tom served as Principal at Cabo Services in early 2024, focusing on geoscience consulting. Currently, Tom is the Head of Geology at Plotlogic, starting in September 2024. Academically, Tom holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology/Earth Science from The University of Queensland, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Deakin University, and completed a short course at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
