David Martin

David Martin is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing at Plotly since July 2024, where responsibilities include growing the Enterprise business through collaboration with sales, product, engineering, and partners. Previously, David held the position of Vice President Marketing at Qdrant from May 2023 to January 2024, being the first non-engineering hire at the company. David's short-term roles in 2023 included Product Marketing positions at Amazon Web Services, where the first AWS Generative AI Accelerator was launched, and Hugging Face, which involved organizing a major AI meet-up. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President Marketing at MindsDB, recognized as the first non-engineering hire while contributing to the development of an open-source virtual database for machine learning integration.
