John Ang serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Special Projects at Plug and Play Tech Center since April 2021, focusing on connecting Global 1000 corporations with frontier technologies to drive revenue and reduce costs. In addition, John is involved in crypto/web3 investments, identifying and funding innovative startups in that sector. John has held mentoring roles at Stella and was part of the founding team at Fincade SG, where the aim was to simplify crypto onboarding. Previous experience includes strategic and special projects at ONE Championship, corporate venture capital at Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), and futures trading at Yim Financial Private Limited. John began a career in military capability development with the Singapore Armed Forces. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economics from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, and Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School.
