Anwar Khan (M.Eng) is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the energy and petrochemical sectors. Currently serving as Lead Process Engineer at Plug Power since October 2023, Anwar contributes to the development of a green hydrogen ecosystem and renewable energy projects. Previously, Anwar held the position of Senior Principal Process Engineer at Technip Energies, focusing on a $1.1 billion expansion project for Occidental Petroleum. Anwar's career includes significant roles at ORYX GTL, AMEC, Bantrel, Thermo Design Engineering Ltd, and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, where expertise ranged from gas-to-liquids facilities to upstream oil asset development and engineering project management. Anwar holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
