Baris Taner

Baris Taner has extensive research and engineering experience. From April 2023 onwards, they will be working as a Senior Controls Engineer at Plug Power. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington from August 2018 to December 2022. Before that, they served as a Research Assistant at Izmir Institute of Technology from December 2013 to July 2018. Baris also gained experience as a Research Personnel at Ukcast from September 2012 to November 2013, where they focused on pressurized casting machine design and development. Additionally, they interned at ENERCON from June 2012 to September 2012. Overall, Baris has demonstrated proficiency in various tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, and Creo.

Baris Taner's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled in the Izmir Institute of Technology. Baris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, Baris pursued their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution.

In 2018, Baris Taner continued their academic journey by joining The University of Texas at Arlington. Baris is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Aerospace Engineering, which is ongoing as of now.
