Brittney Downing

Brittney Downing has work experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Plug Power, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Lead Test Engineer at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from August 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they held roles as a Mechanical Engineering Technician at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from May 2020 to July 2020, and from June 2019 to August 2019.

Brittney Downing received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Highline College from 2016 to 2019 and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering. Additionally, Brittney has achieved two additional certifications. In January 2019, they obtained the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification from Solidworks. In March 2021, they obtained the Engineer In Training Certification from the State of Washington Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
