Site Lead Senior Field Service Tech at Plug Power

Chad Warriner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chad began their career in the U.S. Army as a Wheel Vehicle Mechanic, where they managed equipment and held a security clearance. After leaving the military, Chad worked as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic and Inspector for L3 Communications CFT and was responsible for tracking equipment in a repair program.

Chad then joined the U.S. Army again as a Mobil Equipment Mechanic, where they supervised the maintenance office and conducted repairs on mobile equipment. Chad also gained experience as a Data Monitor at Qnetiq North America, where they collected and analyzed data on Army equipment maintenance.

Moving into the private sector, Chad worked as a Senior Field Service Tech at Sierra Nevada Corporation, where they oversaw the ground maintenance operation for the Gorgon Stare program. Chad also worked at Global Near Space Services as a Senior Team Lead, where they managed a small team of technicians and reported on project progress.

Chad's experience in the aerospace industry continued at Navmar Applied Sciences, where they served as a Test and Evaluation FSR. In this role, they evaluated proposed equipment for military surveillance systems and conducted repairs to ensure proper functionality.

Chad then joined AECOM/URS/EG&G as a Mechanical Technician, responsible for mechanical repairs and maintenance. Following that, Chad worked at CACI International Inc as an Electro Mechanical Technician.

Most recently, Chad joined Plug Power as a Field Service Specialist and later took on the role of Site Lead Senior Field Service Tech.

Chad Warriner has a diverse education history with a focus on technical training and certifications. In 1991, they attended the U.S. Army Technical School and obtained a certification in Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. Then, in 1997, they attended the U.S. Army Technical School again and achieved certifications in both Metal Fabricator and Military Recovery Vehicle Operator (H8). Continuing their education, from 2003 to 2005, Chad studied at Central Texas College, where they obtained a degree as a Diesel Engine Specialist, with a field of study in Diesel Maintenance.
