Stack Test Engineer at Plug Power

Connor Johnston has a diverse work experience history. Connor currently holds the position of Stack Test Engineer at Plug Power starting from February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Line Cook at Leaf Vegetarian Restaurant from July 2021 to December 2021. Before that, they served as a Project Lead at Stephen Hayes Creations, where they designed and constructed a 13-foot LED tree sculpture from January 2021 to June 2021. In 2020, they worked at Duke University Hospital as a Project Member, focusing on automating the post-surgery patient-transfer process. Connor also served as a Project Member at Nowacek Acoustics & Engineering Lab, where they implemented acoustic audio sampling into an existing whale tag. Connor Johnston earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University, where they attended from 2017 to 2021. Prior to their college education, they obtained their High School Diploma from Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton, California, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Connor obtained two certifications: an Introduction to Battery-Management Systems Certificate from the University of Colorado Boulder in December 2021 and a Robotics: Aerial Robotics Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in January 2021.
