Dan Mercurio

Dan Mercurio has extensive work experience in various manufacturing and operations roles. Most recently, they worked at Plug Power as the Senior Global Manufacturing Manager for Electrolyzers. Prior to that, they were the Value Stream Manager at Plug Power.

Before joining Plug Power, Dan served as the Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Manager at Cantel Medical, where they successfully built and managed a team of over 100 employees for a facility consolidation and expansion project. Dan also designed a floor layout for a 100,000 sq ft facility expansion and implemented a 6S workplace organization system.

Dan has also held positions at Southco, Inc. as the Manufacturing Manager, ITT Goulds Pumps as the Operational Excellence Manager, Ikoniq as the Vice President of Operations, Garlock Sealing Technologies as the Klozure Operations Manager, and The Gunlocke Company as the Director of Sales Operations, Material Movement Manager, and Seating Focus Factory Manager.

Earlier in their career, Dan worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Garlock Sealing Technologies, a Production Manager/Program Manager at Peko Precision, and a Six Sigma Blackbelt at Goulds Pumps.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Dan Mercurio obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Lyons High School from 1988 to 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Management and Leadership at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003. No degree or field of study is specified for their high school education.
