David L.

David L. has a range of experience in various technical roles spanning over two decades. David currently works as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician at Plug Power, where they are responsible for the fabrication, assembly, debug, and testing of prototype hydrogen systems. Their previous roles at Plug Power include Senior NPI Technician and Mechanical Technician, Operations, where they were involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components of fuel cell systems and hydrogen infrastructure.

Prior to joining Plug Power, David worked at PVA, where they held multiple positions. David started as a Fluid Systems Technician, where they built fluid systems, contributed design ideas, and managed multiple projects with tight deadlines. David then became the Fluid Systems Team Leader/Group Manager, overseeing a team, managing personnel, and handling project management responsibilities. Later, they transitioned to the role of Quality Assurance Quality Control, where they focused on ensuring the functionality and quality of PVA robotic systems.

Before PVA, David worked at Merus Machinery LLC as an Electro Mechanical Technician. In this role, they fabricated custom automated machinery, performed system start-ups, and verified functionality.

Overall, David has demonstrated expertise in manufacturing engineering, quality control, project management, and troubleshooting in the fields of hydrogen systems, fuel cell systems, fluid delivery systems, and automated machinery.

David L. completed their education in two institutions. David began their academic journey at Northville High School from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a General Diploma in General Studies. Afterward, they attended ITT Technical Institute-Albany for two years, starting in 2001 and finishing in 2003. During their time at ITT, David pursued a field of study in Computer and Electronics Technology, and they earned an Associate's degree.
