Controls Engineer at Plug Power

Glenn White has extensive work experience as a Controls Engineer, specializing in the development and implementation of control software for fuel cell teststand systems. Glenn has worked at companies such as Plug Power, Construction Robotics, and General Motors. At General Motors, Glenn was responsible for designing and developing software for fuel cell teststand control, including defining the overall software architecture, control algorithms, scripting, data acquisition, diagnostics, and GUIs. Prior to that, they worked at Trison Business Solutions, Inc. at General Motors, where they developed control software for a large number of teststands and data-acquisition benches using LabView. Additionally, Glenn has experience as a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, where they developed control algorithms for wheeled mobile robots, and as an intern at Moog Inc., Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems, and Gleason Works, where they gained experience in finite element analysis, lean manufacturing, and Pro-E drafting.

Glenn White completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, from 1999 to 2003. Glenn then pursued further education in the same field and obtained a Master's of Science (Thesis) degree from the University at Buffalo, from 2003 to 2006.
