Principal Controls Engineer

Jason Muller has a diverse work experience in the field of controls engineering and fuel cell systems. Jason currently holds the position of Principal Controls Engineer at Plug Power since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Hyzon Motors from July 2020 to January 2022, where they served as a Technical Leader for Fuel Cell System Control and later as a Lead Systems Control Engineer.

Before joining Hyzon Motors, Jason worked at Excet, Incorporated from July 2013 to June 2020. During their time there, they contributed significantly to the development and design of various projects related to unmanned submersible vehicles, automotive hydrogen fuel cell systems, battery management systems, and UUV dynamometer test systems.

Earlier in their career, Jason had a stint at General Motors (Trison) from October 2008 to June 2013. Jason held multiple roles within the company, including Embedded Software Support, Control Software Test Engineer, and Fuel Cell Module Freeze Engineer.

Before joining General Motors, Jason also gained experience as a Fuel Cell Module Test Engineer and Fuel Cell Stack Test Engineer (Team Lead) at General Motors (Trison) from 2005 to 2008.
