Joop Daamen

Joop Daamen is an accomplished professional in the field of engineering and sales, currently serving as Solutions Development Director at Plug Power since January 2022, where responsibilities include aligning client needs with Plug Electrolyser products for large-scale green hydrogen facilities. With a long-standing career at Frames since September 1998, Joop has held various leadership roles including Sales Manager and Marketing & Sales Director, contributing to the international oil and gas industry's vital supply chain. Previous experience includes multiple management and engineering positions at Eco Purification Systems between 1995 and 1998, alongside a strong educational background with a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Amsterdam and additional degrees in chemical and process engineering from Avans University and M.T.S. Tilburg.
