Larry Pitts

Larry Pitts has extensive experience in mechanical design, currently serving as the Director of Mechanical Design at Plug Power since July 1998. In this role, Larry leads the development of fuel cell product suites, overseeing projects from initial research and development through to fully functional manufacturing designs. Prior to this position, Larry worked as a Lead Designer and CAD Systems Trainer at Adecco/TAD, where supervision of a ten-employee drafting office and training on Unigraphics CAD and GE drafting standards were key responsibilities. Larry's earlier experience includes serving as a Mechanical Designer and CAD Operator at General Electric Power Systems from February 1990 to September 1996. Larry Pitts holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Hudson Valley Community College, obtained between 1987 and 1989.
