Mani Ramani is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the fuel cell and electrolyzer sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Plug Power since March 2015, Mani leads a team focused on advancing electrolyzer, fuel cell stack, and fuel cell engineering. Previous roles include Senior Director of Stack and MEA and Director of Chemical Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed stack design and system integration. Prior experience at GE Power & Water involved managing cell design engineering for sodium batteries, while at GE Transportation, Mani successfully facilitated technology transfer and process scaling for cathode design. Mani's earlier career at Plug Power resulted in significant advancements in stack reliability and innovation, including multiple patent applications. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Electrochemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a B.Tech in Electrochemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute, with ongoing studies at The Wharton School.
