Rick Mason

Rick Mason has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Rick started their career as a Contract Engineer at Alcoa in 1994, where they worked until December of the same year. In 1995, they joined Borg Warner Automotive as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and remained there until May 2000. Rick then transitioned to Plug Power and held various positions over the years. From May 2000 to December 2012, they served as Director of Operations. Subsequently, they were promoted to Vice President of Operations, a position they held until April 2021. From May 2021 to April 2023, they worked as the VP of Business Development, Product and Program Management, responsible for new business development and overall product management in the Fuel Cell Applications division. Currently, they are the VP of NextGen Solutions at Plug Power, starting in April 2023. This role involves leading an engineering program management team to introduce new products to the market.

Rick Mason attended Clarkson University from 1991 to 1995, where they received a degree in Electrical Engineering. After that, from 1995 to 2000, they pursued their MBA in Management of Technology at Syracuse University.
