Robert Nicholas

Robert Nicholas has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Robert is currently working at Plug Power as a Mechanical Engineering Manager, where they are responsible for the development and operation of hydrogen infrastructure. Prior to that, they were a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Plug Power, involved in the specification, analysis, testing, and integration of mechanical and electromechanical components for hydrogen mobility systems.

Before joining Plug Power, Robert worked at Entergy as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, supporting plant maintenance and operations and implementing engineering solutions. Robert also served as a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor at Enercon Services, where they directed and performed engineering activities in support of special projects at nuclear power stations.

Earlier in their career, Robert was a Principal Nuclear Engineer at Burns and Roe, undertaking various nuclear engineering and management assignments. Robert also worked at Tetra Tech EC, Inc. as the National Nuclear Discipline Lead, responsible for overseeing the quality of nuclear engineering work and managing the hiring of nuclear engineers.

Robert Nicholas has showcased expertise in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, hydrogen infrastructure, and project management throughout their career.

Robert Nicholas attended Stevens Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Physics - Nuclear and Thermonuclear Energy.
