Roy Kasteel

Roy Kasteel has extensive work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Roy is currently working as a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Plug Power since November 2021. Before that, they worked at Frames for a total of 17 years. At Frames, they held various roles including Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer from January 2012 to May 2022, Electrical Engineer from January 2008 to December 2011, and Lead Engineer from November 2005 to January 2008. Prior to their time at Frames, Roy worked at OPRA Turbines for a total of 9 years. At OPRA Turbines, they served as a Lead Engineer CE&I from April 2001 to October 2005, Senior Controls Engineer from January 1998 to April 2001, and Design Engineer from October 1996 to January 1998.

Roy Kasteel began their education in 1989 at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN), where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Roy completed their studies in 1993. Following this, Roy went on to enroll at the University of Twente in the same year, graduating in 1996 with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
