Ryan Young

Ryan Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maintenance, calibration, and engineering, currently serving as the Maintenance and Calibration Manager at Plug Power since January 2022. Previous roles include Calibration/Maintenance Shift Lead and Calibration/Maintenance Technician at Plug Power, as well as Calibration Technician at General Motors, where maintenance and calibration of hydrogen fuel cell test stations were key responsibilities. Ryan also worked at Steptron Technologies, Inc. as a Lockout/Tagout Surveyor, and gained calibration experience at Inspec, Inc. and A123 Systems, performing tests on automotive batteries and calibration of various instruments. Prior military experience as a Missile Technician in the US Navy provided Ryan with leadership skills while managing a team of technicians.
