Sandipan Sen

Field Application Engineer at Plug Power

Sandipan Sen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sandipan started their career in 2007 with a work experience position at Tata Motors. Later, they worked as a maths teaching assistant at The Manchester Grammar School, where they planned and assisted in teaching maths to gifted children. Sandipan also worked as a football coach at Schulz Coaching, where they taught football to children of different age groups and developed their techniques while dealing with behavioral issues.

In 2010, Sandipan joined General Motors as a Quality & Reliability Engineer, where they analyzed warranty data and provided solutions to customers while preventing future warranty issues. Sandipan extended their role to assist with warranty issues for the Astra Sports Tourer.

From 2013, Sandipan joined DENSO Europe as an Assistant Technical Manager. Sandipan held various roles within the company, including Hydrogen Energy Systems and Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems. In these roles, they were responsible for communication with customers and partners, understanding current powertrain options, identifying the pathway to a sustainable future, managing teams, and researching upcoming regulations and market trends.

Most recently, Sandipan joined Plug Power in 2022 as a Field Application Engineer, where they utilize their technical expertise in providing support to customers.

Throughout their career, Sandipan has gained skills in project management, communication, and people management. Sandipan'sexperience demonstrates their adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to their work.

Sandipan Sen attended Manchester Grammar School from 2001 to 2008. Sandipan then went on to study at Loughborough University from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
