Shawn Clapham

Shawn Clapham has a strong background in engineering, with a focus on the automotive industry. Shawn is currently working as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Plug Power since January 2022. Prior to that, they spent almost a decade at GW Lisk as a Senior Project Engineer Diesel and Commercial Valves from 2013 to 2021. Shawn also worked at General Motors as a Research Engineer from 2007 to 2012 and at GENERAL MOTORS R&D, Honeoye Falls as a Test Engineer/Research Engineer from 2004 to 2012. Before that, Shawn gained experience at companies such as Delphi Automotive Systems, Cooper Instruments and Systems, Valeo, Robert Bosch Corporation, and New Venture Gear, where they worked on various engineering projects and conducted quality control and testing tasks.

Shawn Clapham attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
