Stefan Ekelschot has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Stefan started their career as a Constructeur at Kiremko B.V. in 2008, where they worked until 2009. Stefan then transitioned to the role of Product Engineer at Kiremko B.V. in 2010 and worked there until 2012.
In 2012, Stefan joined Frames as a Jr. Design Engineer (Mechanical) and worked in this role until 2015. During their time at Frames, they also served as a Focal point Rotating equipment, where they provided technical advice on various topics and was responsible for pump and compressor selection. Stefan mentored Jr. Design Engineers (Mechanical) and provided input for requisitions, specifications, and datasheets.
After leaving Frames, Stefan worked at Vicoma in 2017 as an Equipment Engineer. Stefan then moved to Geurts International B.V., where they served as a Project Engineer from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they coordinated projects, ensured quality, and collaborated with various departments within the organization.
From 2019 to 2022, Stefan worked at Actuator Technology Company B.V. as a Project Manager. In this position, they were responsible for the complete order process, from sales handover to final delivery, considering budget, lead time, and client requirements.
Most recently, Stefan joined Plug Power in 2022 as a Project Manager | Engineering Manager, where they are currently working.
Stefan Ekelschot obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained a certification in VCA-VOL from Vanneau groep & partners in April 2013.
