Plug Power

Daniel Miller has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1997, they worked as an Engineering Intern at BorgWarner, focusing on mechanical testing and failure analysis of transmission chains. The following year, at Alkron Manufacturing, they continued as an Engineering Intern, where they developed tooling and fixturing for assembly technicians. 

In 1999, Miller joined General Motors, first as a Project Engineer in the Fuel Processing Group, overseeing the build, test, and data analysis of fuel processors. After that, they became a Project Engineer, specializing in electroplating supplier development and optimizing gold coating durability. Throughout their career at GM, Miller successfully completed projects for three generations of gasoline steam reforming reactors.

Miller then joined Ultralife Corporation in 2013, assuming the role of Project Manager for New Product Development. Daniel led an engineering team in developing lithium-ion battery systems, managing customer relations, project schedules, design reviews, and pricing/contract negotiations. Daniel also provided hands-on engineering support in design, prototype battery builds, testing, and problem-solving.

Most recently, in 2020, Miller joined Plug Power as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. As of now, their work at Plug Power continues, but specific details of their role and responsibilities are not provided.

Daniel Miller earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Daniel attended the institute from 1994 to 1999.
