Pranav Natarajan

Pranav Natarajan has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and data analysis. In 2017, they worked as a Power BI Data Visualization Intern at MAC Machine Tools and Automation. In 2019, they interned as an MS-SQL Database Management Intern at the same company, where they were responsible for creating database architecture and collaborating with the engineering team to determine key performance indicators for heavy machinery.

In 2021, Pranav worked as an Associate Sport Data Scientist Intern at SportsKPI, where they led the creation of an Expected Goals Model for soccer. Pranav also performed exploratory data analysis and improved the model's performance by formulating new features and performing calibration and tuning.

In 2022, Pranav worked as a Digital & Data Analyst at Stout, where they researched and performed exploratory data analysis. Pranav also worked with the Accounting & Reporting practice to analyze socioeconomic data for investment evaluation. Pranav synthesized sensitive client data, using SDV for Merger & Acquisition Analyses, and transformed data using MS PowerQuery and DAX in PowerBI.

Currently, Pranav is working as a Software Developer at Plugable Technologies since 2023.

Pranav Natarajan began their education in 2016 at the Canadian International School, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Pranav'shigher level subjects included mathematics, computer science, and physics, while their standard level subjects included economics, Spanish, and English.

In 2018, Pranav enrolled at the University of Washington, where they pursued a double degree in Mathematics and Computational Finance and Risk Management (CFRM). This program is expected to be completed in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Pranav has obtained several certifications. In July 2019, they completed the "SQL for Data Science" course offered by the University of California, Davis, on Coursera. In July 2017, they also obtained the "DAT207x: Analysing and Visualising Data on PowerBI" certification from Microsoft on edX.

More recently, in February and March 2023, Pranav acquired several certifications in football scouting from the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA). These certifications include "PFSA Level 1 Opposition Analysis in Football," "PFSA Introduction to Football Scouting," "PFSA Level 1 Talent Identification in Football," and "PFSA Level 1 Technical Scouting in Football."
