Pluggdd India was started by Tabrez Alam with a viewpoint of bringing utility based Apps to the smartphone market. Being in the technology industry for almost a decade (Tabrez has an experience of almost a decade in Intellectual Property and Patent Research), he wanted to bring some of the ideas of User Interfaces and tools to the consumers.Thefirst App that has been launched by the company is called Scratch Protector (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pluggdd.scratchprotector). The app is aimed at protecting a users smartphone from scratching.The app is aimed at protecting your phone from the minor scratches that it gets while it lies on the table and vibrates. Often a phone may even topple while vibrating for a long period.We realized that in case a phone is of charging mode, it does not need to vibrate (vibrations are useful only if the phone is in contact with the human body and while charging it invariably is not in contact). Therefore, the app suppresses all vibrations as soon as you plug your phone to charging. The vibrations are back to normal as soon as you plug it out.Thereby, the App protects the phone from getting scratches.The next App that the team is working on developing is aimed at changing the way phone screen and Application Locks work.
