Namhoon Kim has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Engineer at Infraware from 2009 to 2011, where they developed and maintained the Polaris 6 browser engine. Namhoon then worked at KT Hitel as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of Appspresso and later transferring to the DevOps team.
In 2012, Namhoon joined S-Core as a Software Engineer, participating in various prototype projects. Namhoon developed the management system frontend for a mobile virtualization platform and also contributed to a Web IDE for JavaScript web apps.
Namhoon joined Electronic Arts (EA) in 2014, initially as a Software Engineer for the Need for Speed: EDGE project. Namhoon later became the lead engineer of the frontend team, responsible for delivering meta game features and system performance. In 2018, they transitioned to a managerial role, leading a team of server engineers responsible for the FIFA Online 4 monthly updates.
In 2021, Namhoon joined Codebrick as a Lead Software Engineer, working on the Omnichannel project. Namhoon created NestJS-based microservices using gRPC and Kafka, as well as a concurrent stock managing library.
Finally, in 2022, Namhoon became a Lead Software Engineer at Plugo, where they are currently employed.
Namhoon Kim pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Chung-Ang University, from 2000 to 2008.
